Netball is one of the most popular female sports in Sri Lanka. It is enjoyed in schools and clubs up and down the country during the season from November to April, making this sparkling gem of the Indian Ocean the perfect place for your sports tour.

With excellent facilities on offer and a host of friendly players eager to take on your team, Sri Lanka can provide satisfying on-court competition, all to the backdrop of one of the most sought-after countries for tourism in the world.

Our specialist sports division arranges the tour to your exact requirements directly from Colombo, bringing you the expertise and value-for-money deals that come from being part of one of Sri Lanka’s largest tailor-made holiday companies.

When you join a netball tour of Sri Lanka with Red Dot Sports, don’t be surprised if even a decent-sized crowd turns out to watch you in action.

Sri Lanka first came on to the netball scene professionally back in 1921 since then they have made great strides in the sport. Since August 2016 the Sri Lankan women’s team have been ranked among the top 30 teams in the world.

As well as the sport, you can fill your itinerary with visits to ancient ruined cities, seek out elephants and leopards in one of Sri Lanka’s game parks, laze on a tropical beach, try out water-sports, or discover the ins-and-outs of Colombo, one of the most welcoming and compact cities in Asia.

There is also the chance to partner with a Sri Lankan charitable foundation to run a coaching and development camp, or organise a community netball tournament to help teach women and girls leadership and team-building skills.

Few places can rival Sri Lanka for beauty, variety and charm. Welcome to the island with a little bit of everything.
